Things to know.
1. Treatment Duration: Electrolysis may require multiple sessions to achieve permanent results, as hair grows in different stages and cycles.
2. Discomfort: While electrolysis is generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience mild discomfort during treatment. Your electrologist can provide tips to help minimize any discomfort.
3. Aftercare: Following electrolysis treatment, it's important to follow your electrologist's aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results and minimize any potential side effects.
4. Maintenance: While electrolysis offers permanent hair removal, occasional touch-up sessions may be needed to target any new hair growth.

• On average it takes approximately 4-6 weeks for a hair to grow back. Any growth before is a different hair.
• The faster the hair is released. The higher chance of regrowth.
• There are 500-1000 hairs / square inch of your face.
• Electrolysis is the ONLY FDA approved method of permanent hair removal.
• Treatment may be midly uncomfortable. Use of a numbing cream can be used.
• Sensitive areas to use are eyebrows or upper lip.
• Tweezing and waxing will remove the hair shaft from the follicle, but will not destroy the life source of the hair.

How many treatments will I need?
There is no definitive answer as each client will be different. A variety of factors such as hair growth cycles, hormones, previous hair removal methods, quantity and structure of hair, medication, and stress can influence the treatment duration. Each individual session can range from 15 minutes to more than an hour. The larger the area, the longer the session. However, each session will be booked for shorter and shorter times as we near completion and fewer and fewer hairs regrow. Each area treated will require approximately 6-10 sessions to remove all the hair. Some people may need a few more or a few less depending on previous methods of hair removal used.
Is it safe?
Yes. Electrolysis has been in existence for over 130 years and with all the advancements in technique and technology, as long as it is performed by a trained professional, and proper sanitation protocols are followed, it is extremely safe.
What if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
There's no problem with treating you if you're pregnant or breast feeding, especially since hormonal changes can bring on much unwanted hair growth, but some women feel more sensitive during these times so will depend on your tolerance. You cannot use galvanic while you are pregnant, only thermolysis. If you have any questions on this, please consult your physician.

What areas can be treated?
Almost everywhere! There are a few places, for example, moles or inside the nostril that cannot be treated, but we will discuss all this in your initial consultation.
